Heart transplant transport box

I got involved as a consultant for the Lund based company XVIVO in developing their advance heart transplantation transportation box which would maintain the condition of a heart until it could be transplanted in to the patient. This has made it possible to transport organs longer distances decreasing organs going to waste. 

I designed UI and UX. The UX included guides/wizards for medical staff in setting up the machine and connecting the heart etc. and states for alarms of different kinds. The UI was carefully designed for visual clarity to work in contexts such as helicopters and ambulances providing clear visual feedback from a bit of distans.
